Interesting to note how the table tennis rankings have been changing.
Not for W's as Chinese players are currently ranked 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, 7th and 10th there.
But M's ranking has changed a lot over recent years. No Chinese player in top-3 (held by Matsushima, F.Lebrun and Harimoto), just one in top-8, just 2 in top-10 and 3 in top-15. Could possibly have something to do with frequency of the Chinese participating in ranking tournaments but I really doubt this is the explanation.
