The Chess Bundesliga 2024/25 prediction game is now open for registration. You can sign up here.

One more new type of prediction game: Team Chess
The Bundesliga has 16 teams, 15 rounds.
Results from 8:0 to 0:8 are possible. Also a draw (4:4) which can't be predicted, but you will get points for your prediction (same like Handball matches).
The teams have really good players. Magnus Carlson, for instance, joined St. Pauli after this years promotion.

Düsseldorf has 9 players with an Elo score above 2700, Baden-Baden has 7 players with an Elo score above 2700. Please notice, not all players will play all matches.

Entering predictions should be already possible, I still have to program the scoring and the embedding in the quicktip. There is also a season prediction, like football, 3-2-1 points

A firm statement should be made here. This is apparently the place where ALL top chess players spend time when they don't play internationals! I haven't checked beyond top-10 but since top ten are fully represented I'd assume this is most likely valid for other players too. I'll check top-30 later on.

So a random and weird it may sound at a first glance to pick a country and go for its domestic league in chess, but in fact Chess Bundesliga is a natural extension of our World Cup chess comp on here.
