Qatar's all three goals in the final came from penalty shots! A penalty shot hattrick from Akram Afif. Very rare.
Qatar win back-to-back Cups. Interesting, they were arguably the biggest disappointment of 2022 Qatar World Cup (as the hosts) but apparently they are evolving in a good direction.
Meanwhile in Africa... Rep.South Africa win bronze despite the fact that they were not necessarily Best-16 candidates before the tournament.
